Come check out MF Wolik’s abstract prints at the Burlington International Waterfront Festival’s Fine Art Fair, Friday July 10th – Sunday July 12th. We will have over 60 prints on hand along with 5 large canvas prints. Here is the festival information and link: Burlington City Arts (BCA) brings a festival of fine art to Burlington’s beautiful Lake Champlain waterfront with artists from across Vermont as well as New York and Quebec. The festival is part of the City of Burlington’s larger “International Waterfront Festival”, which takes place from July 2-14, 2009 throughout the City and will include concerts, comedy, film, theater, and a host of other special events. This event celebrates the 400th anniversary of Samuel de Champlain’s first sighting of the lake which now bears his name. www.celebratechamplain.org
Waterbury’s 8th Annual Stowe Street Arts Festival July 18th
If you can’t make it to the Burlington Fair come check out my prints on Saturday July 18th during Waterbury’s 8th Annual Stowe Street Arts Festival. Here is some information about the day’s events and link: Start the day with Art is Energizing, a bike parade from the Railroad Station to Stowe Street, starts at 9:45 am. Come an hour early and deck out your bicycle! Then, browse, purchase and enjoy the creative work of over 60 Vermont visual and craft artists on Stowe Street from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. Music and good eats will be available all day for your enjoyment, with artist demonstrations, chalk painting and The Great Gourmet Burger Cook-off at 11:00 am with judging at 11:30 pm. The Art Walk on the Lincoln Street Community Path is open at 1:00pm with a celebratory BBQ starting at 4:00 pm at the Lincoln Street entrance of the path. www.revitalizingwaterbury.org
